When choosing a course provider be sure to be honest about your experience and expectations. Give them a call or an email and see what they can do for you. Most providers are happy to tweak the courses to your needs. In some cases they will only run if a minimum number of people sign up. If this is the case and you need more people to make it work then pencil in dates with the provider and shout out on the local Facebook group and the Packrafting in New Zealand Facebook group, there are often people who are keen to join a course.
