Safety Management System

PRANZ has created a Safety Management System for our official activities.

Basically, its to make sure we’ve got with the right gear, the right skills and the right locations to have a safe an enjoyable activity, with people we’ve only just met.

Anyone going on a PRANZ activity needs to read the plan and follow it during the activity. Specifically, there are key responsibilities for event organisers, trip leaders and participants.  There are also minimum skill sets/competencies for participants before going on an an official river trip.  If someone doesn’t have those skills, then we’ll either need to take the time to teach those skills, or not allow that person on the trip.

If you have any feedback on the plan, get in touch via our PRANZ Facebook page.

The PRANZ Safety Management System consists of;
